| This past Fall my husband and I decided to pursue installing solar panels on our roof, but didn’t really know where to start. We looked into both renting the system and also buying it outright, and decided to go with Celestar Solar to install our solar. Garrison was incredibly helpful to work with and honest and upfront about everything. We were never made to feel like any of our questions were too small or silly, and Garrison was super knowledgeable and experienced and very good at breaking down all the confusing aspects of solar panels so that the average person (us) could understand and feel like we were making educated choices. I was impressed with how skilled he was at helping us configure the layout and maximize our solar production. The actual installation was quick and seamless. He also helped us make the necessary updates to our wiring/electric, file for rebates and tax credits, and get set-up with monitoring our system via an app on our phones. What’s nice is that he also continues to monitor the system remotely and has answered a couple questions we’ve had even post-installation. He was very responsive the whole way through. In fact, when we have dropped the ball he has been great at keeping things moving, and during the approval process he was proactive at keeping us updated with where we were in the process. | We got PV panels in 2021 when we re-roofed. We’d had solar-hotwater panels for decades and didn’t want to part with them, but the contractor who installed those–a good friend–said it was time for PV and counseled us to call Celestar. How right he was! Garrison Riegel is more than a knowledgeable solar contractor. Garrison is the top contractor of any kind we’ve ever met (well, along with the man who recommended him 🙂 ). Every aspect of Garrison’s work was top-notch, from the craftsmanship to the paperwork. And he’s good-humored to boot. Our 21-panel system will supply all the energy we need (with the grid “banking” extra summertime production via net metering), and federal/state credits will offset installation costs. We’ve recommended Garrison to friends and neighbors; some have hired him; all have been pleased. What more can we say? We adore this man. |
| Celestar Solar has such deep experience designing and installing solar that we didn’t hesitate to trust them with our project (21 rooftop panels). Garrison Riegel, the owner, had advice and suggestions for us all along the way to help us navigate a rooftop condition issue and then get approved for both the carbon credits program and the net metering (sharing power to the grid) program. This all could have been overwhelmingly complicated, but I felt like we had an insider who knew what to anticipate and when. Their installation took half a day less than he thought (in December, no less!) and was exceedingly tidy and unobtrusive.
