The owner allegedly offered me the inverter with Powerwall/LG Chem battery integration capability in writing, but he installed a different device instead, costing me an additional $3,000 for the installation of the battery pack. In writing, Rethink Electric’s owner has also declared that he will not uphold the seven-year craftsmanship warranty. |
| From the site visit and survey to the modeling of the system with many configurations, system payback estimation, and installation, Rethink Electric performed an excellent job on our project. Their predictions for the first two months are roughly in line with the energy that the system has produced thus far, and they offered realistic forecasts for expected production that took tree shading into account. They took care of every part of our installation, including preparing and submitting the necessary papers for SRECS, permits, net metering, and other requirements. Every member of the staff that we dealt with, including the first customer support technician, the administrative liaison, the installation crew, and the business owner, was always approachable, helpful, and fast to address any concerns or questions we raised. The installation crew collaborated well and produced excellent results. The system was tastefully built and did not overpower the architectural features of our house. Conduit routing was installed as neatly and as inconspicuously as possible. The installation went quite well, however regrettably, several panels suffered pine sap leakage a week after the project was finished due to a nearby pine tree. Even though it was not their job, Rethink returned after the tree was taken down and meticulously cleaned the impacted panels. Rethink performed admirably on the project in every way, both during and after. |
